KASTELLs Clay Boots® Basements are
absolutely 100% watertight which is accomplished by state-of-the-art
waterproofing membranes, in which the Clay Boots® basement walls and if
required the slab is enwrapped. By using of special membranes PREPRUFE we provide a second safety
precaution: Unlike conventional non-adhering membranes, which are vulnerable to
water ingress tracking between the unbonded membrane and the structure, the
unique PREPRUFE bond to the structure prevents ingress or migration of water
around the structure. These membranes are BBA Certified for basement Grades 2, 3,
&4 to BS 8102:1990.
